Raneh Falls
A canyon of red rock on the Ken river, about 20 km from Khajuraho. Go there on the same day as the temples rather than as a separate drive from Tikamgarh. The water is stronger after the rains; winter is quieter.
Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh
Tikamgarh sits in Bundelkhand — an old fort town with quiet temples nearby, and Orchha or Khajuraho when you want a longer day out.
Distances are from Hotel Aditya at State Bank Chauraha, Kile ka Maidan. They are approximate — ask the front desk before you set out.

Three real outings from the hotel. Khajuraho is further — about 140 km — so treat that as its own long day.
Half day
Papora Ji and Kundeshwar are both a short drive from State Bank Chauraha. Come back for lunch and look toward the town fort from the rooftop.

Half day
Two quieter heritage stops that are still in this district: the Pratihara sun temple at Madkhera, then the hill fort at Garh Kundar.

The most sensible full-day heritage trip from Tikamgarh. Orchha is about 83 km, around two hours by road.
